LEADERSHIP TEAM

Meet the Pastor and First Lady

Pastor Dr. Broderick Sings

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel…” (Luke 4:18)

Dr. Broderick Sings, born in Lansing, Michigan, moved to Winston-Salem (Midway), NC at an early age where he received his initial training in the things of God as a member of the Gates of Zion, Glorious Church of God, under the pastorate of Ben Robinson Sr. and later Bishop Robert Melton Jr.

Broderick’s anointed gift of song was used in the choir and with several gospel groups in the area which afforded him the opportunity to tour with various gospel stage plays where he met his wife and partner in the ministry, Lenore Sings, and eventually settling in Charlotte, NC.

In 1996, he joined New Covenant Bibleway Church and served diligently in several offices from choir director to outreach minister. There, he accepted his call into the preaching ministry and was licensed and ordained on October 7, 2007 by the late Bishop Curtis M. Beatty Jr.

Pastor Sings continued to equip himself for ministry by obtaining his Counseling credentials in 2008, from the American Association of Christian Counselors. As a four time graduate of Ambassador Christian College, he obtained his A.A., B.S., M.A., and Doctoral degrees in Theology.

In 2010, after serving 14 years at New Covenant Bibleway Church, Pastor Sings was released to begin his move towards the pastorate. Since he has been pastoring, God has shown Himself mighty and many have come to Christ under his leadership. Seasoned saints have been encouraged through his dynamic preaching and teaching. People in the community, often overlooked by others, have been assisted financially and fed literally and spiritually by Pastor Sings.
